Watermelon, Peach, Mango Juice

The nice thing about summer is that we have access to such wonderful produce from our farmer’s markets. The produce we get from the farmer’s markets are fresh, local, and grown by farmers who care about quality. This morning the kids and I went for a morning bike ride. Actually, they rode their bikes and I ran because unlike most adults I do not know how to ride a bike. When people hear this they always offer to teach me so I would like to thank you all in advance for your offer. My goal this summer is to learn how to ride a bike. So stay tuned for updates. Back to my topic this morning. After our morning outdoor activity we had a breakfast made up of fresh peaches and watermelon. Then my son, Ty, wanted to juice them. So we threw into our juicer watermelon, peaches, and a mango. The result was this beautiful fruit juice. I have to tell you all that it was yummo! Plus it was really refreshing after being under the sun this morning. A breakfast of fruit is a wonderful way to start your day. It eases your digestive system back into working mode after a night of rest. Fruit is simple to digest, full of vitamins that are absorbed easily by the body and very hydrating. More importantly easy clean up, meaning less dishes for me. Give it a try one morning and see how you feel.
