Korean Seaweed Soup

Juice Detox Day 5 Korean Seaweed Soup I needed some comfort today. I was feeling a little under the weather due to some detox symptoms. So I made a huge pot of Korean Seaweed Soup for my family for lunch today and served it to them with rice. This is a traditional Korean soup that is served for it’s healing benefits and providing strength to the body. It is also a traditional birthday meal to ensure the birthday person lives a healthy strong life. My kids love this soup and they ate it up. Since I am on my detox I drank just the tasty broth from this soup. It gave me the strength I needed to pull through my detox symptoms. Seaweed is an amazing food that has medicinal affects on our bodies. It is highly detoxifing and has many healing benefits. It is known to be able to detox the body of such things as heavy metals and also balances thyroids. This is something I know my body needs during my juice detox. Plus whenever I am feeling under the weather I crave the foods I grew up eating. Because I am Korean, this soup is real comfort food for me. It really made me feel happy and satisfied. This is something I really needed today.
